The original post tonally reads as dismissive. If it’s that serious to you, why would you co-opt your friend’s experience? Thats why you have two responses going “um not cool” and thinking you’re joking.
Yeah unfortunately that’s not really coming across in the post - it’s giving “here’s a joke about a friend, everyone should just chill out a bit” which doesn’t connect at all to your anxiety, instead it reads as dismissive of the original post.

Cliff’s got dyslexia and it’s wild how they both outwardly show the same symptoms when we’re tired.
Reading aloud goes to absolute shit but for totally different reasons! I’m skipping too many words for my mouth to keep up with, he’s not translating them quickly.
Not saying that you were! It’s just a very serious example which is making light of anxiety somewhat in comparison to what is a (kind of) trivial discussion about game speed.
Choice is always good - also gives space for the hard of hearing who CAN’T hear the VO
I’m not sure that mental health and a road traffic accident was the best route for that.

There’s nothing worse with hyperlexia than artificial pauses in narrative 😅
My hyperlexia disagrees with this - making it slow down artificially when it’s invested in reading is the easiest way to lose my interest.
