For sure, and I think the lack of hype might have been because it was an expansion set that didn't actually serve a bunch of classes.
I don't think that's what we saw with your example. Instead, I think that we had a delayed release for Dynasty in November of '22, and then 7 months later DTD came out as an expansion set in name only. People weren't burned out so much as they had no use for the light and shadow cards in the set.
A new year means it's time to revisit the top Trading Card games! If your looking for an alternative to the big 3 of Magic:the Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh, then I'd recommend giving these a try⤵️
