Very grateful for the generosity of his remarks. And thanks to Manolis Simos for seizing the moment!
Still not quite over this moment.
It was truly an honour (and I admit a bit awe-inspiring) to listen to Kostas Gavroglu — towering historian of science and former Minister of Education & Research in the Tsipras government — engage so thoughtfully with my book.

📢 Pleased to share that my chapter “Bachelardian and Continental Epistemologies” is out in The Routledge Handbook of the History of Philosophy of Science After Kant (Padovani &

Delighted to announce a roundtable discussion of my book Reconsidering Historical Epistemology
🗓️ Feb 2, 2026
📍 Athens (NKUA)
Truly honoured - and excited - to have such outstanding scholars engaging with my work.
Flyer attached ⬇️
My contribution examines Hacking’s styles of scientific reasoning in relation to Foucault’s archaeology of discourse, focusing on the shift from positivity to truthfulness. I argue the transition is not merely terminological. Happy to share a pre-print!
Happy (and humbled) to see my work cited in Paolo Mancosu’s newly revised SEP entry on Mathematical Style:
plato.stanford.edu/entries/math...
The entry is a wonderful - and now classic - overview of how “style” has been used in mathematics and philosophy.
Now out in Studies in HPS! 'Artefactualism and the twofold experience of modelling': authors.elsevier.com/a/1mH3%7E8yu...
Short article building on the phenomenology of modelling experience as discussed in @msuarez.bsky.social's excellent book, Inference and Representation.
This is happening TODAY: only a few hours left to register and join the conversation on pragmatism and philosophy of science ;)
I’m *very* excited to announce that the special issue of The Monist that I co-edited with Paul Roth is finally out!
It includes my new paper alongside a fantastic set of contributions.

Happy to share a pre-print of my article—just ask!
