independent label hive mind, please! I'm thinking of changing digital distributor. Any recommendations? Have used CD Baby for a while, but frustrated by their need for only 16 bit recordings. Value ease of use, low cost, and good quality audio. Also ability to pick & choose platforms.

I had the honour of sharing work here last year. Delighted to see it getting well deserved attention.
brilliant
Lovely performance & harmonies. Reminded me of Mary Hopkins's goosebumps delivery on Water, Paper and Clay.
A wonderful release out today on Buried Treasure. Sleevenote essay by Suzy Mangion.
A huge thank you to everyone who celebrated and supported DD Day 2025 this year 🎉

Suzy Mangion's Music of Uncertain Lives (video on the top right), with visuals by Andrea Pazos. Created for Delia Derbyshire Day 2025. A dreamlike exploration of randomness, numbers, telepathy, and anxiety. Headphones recommended.
tomorrow, 2-4pm, Manchester Central Library. FREE. Suzy Mangion as part of @deliaderbyshireday.bsky.social
Suzy Mangion has a new piece this weekend to celebrate Delia Derbyshire Day. All about randomness. @deliaderbyshireday.bsky.social
Basically, every time you stream a TC track, the artist is out of pocket. They actually pocket it. It's the same revenue that other platforms pass on to the artists, they just keep. On the distributor's statement it's like $25 earned, $0 paid. WTF Spotify. We're investigating alternatives.
moving closer to leaving Spotify - issue is whether to remove the music from there, leave it but don't add any new releases, or only do limited/preview versions of new releases on Spotify, directing people to other platforms to hear it all. Maybe a tiny track about how Spotify rip people off?
A message from our 2025 Project Coordinator 🤓🎵
Join us at MCR Central Library on Sat 22 Nov from 2-4pm to make, play and explore!

Suzy Mangion's new audio work The Music of Uncertain Lives will be premiered (visuals by Andrea Pazos) at next Saturday's FREE Delia Derbyshire Day event, Manchester Central Library, 2-4pm. Made using random number generators, you can hear it at random times. @deliaderbyshireday.bsky.social
50 YEARS AGO TODAY: BBC Schools' Near And Far talks wind. When people talk about unsettling theme tunes they understandably reach for Picture Box first but that's because more of them haven't heard this Radiophonic Workshop set to maximum creepiness.
of all the beautiful Frog & Toad stories this is possibly the best, and of all the lines in the books, this is the most moving, and of all the pictures in the books, this is the most poignant and full of love. A lot of love for these books.
This episode of the Delia Derbyshire Day Podcast has Suzy Mangion and David Vorhaus (of White Noise fame) talking about all things Delia Derbyshire. @delia.bsky.social
I just watched the opening credits of ep 1 on youtube, and I'm hooked already - bbc radiophonic I presume, or at least something similar. Austere and direct and strange at the same time. A problem I have with contemporary documentary series is the dial is constantly set at 'high drama'
I haven't seen Connections, but am going to seek it out now. Along with The Ascent of Man, Life on Earth, and Ways of Seeing, it's from a favourite period of TV for me. It's the seriousness of tone that I love in these, and the breadth of knowledge expectation.
Advance copies of Rupert Hine's soundtrack to cult horror film The Shout will be available at Trunk's Groovy Record Fayre on Saturday. Not officially out until 5th Dec, there will be a limited number of vinyl + cd bundles inc. badges, stickers, postcards + an A2 print of the original film poster
There's a reason we like this at Turning Circle HQ
great new podcast about all things Derbyshire (the composer, not the county). And episode 2 features Suzy Mangion in conversation with David Vorhaus, of White Noise fame, and inventor of electronic instruments.
Suzy Mangion will be at all these Radiophonictastic events, premiering her new commission for the organisation's anniversary, called The Music of Uncertain Lives.
exciting new release from @buriedtreasure.bsky.social - OST of THE SHOUT, after all these years. With a short sleevenote essay by Suzy Mangion, professional listener.
7 years on this one. There's been several challenges along the way but its finally come together. The cut is amazing. The sleeve notes are fascinating. Out December. Reviewers, commissioning editors, bloggers, etc. please get in touch.
Luna has obviously been watching this Sesame Street classic for inspiration... youtu.be/oRRe5GkBPjs?...
