Yeah, mine is for sure!
I hear ya! Anxiety for anxiety’s sake.
2016 was a dire year! I feel blessed to have seen Prince in concert, and to have made a friend’s day by getting her a ticket too. 1992, sigh!

I rarely go out for lunch/dinner, but did earlier this week. Two sandwiches, one portion of chips, two coffees - £36! Won't be doing that again!
Was it an ornithological book?
Another increment of time in a Summer on the walls of Two Doors Studio - Today until Saturday ..

There's many a great item still to see and the chef in the loft cafe is filling oatcakes as fast as he can .. until the 30th.
The mood is good even in the air of finality ..
Today’s story is free, immediately, for everyone to listen. I apologize for it being so late! And for my voice in the story being so rough!

Two images sharing the same subject, the Paris-Roubaix classic bicycle race. The first is a print of a pastel painting showing a lone cyclist riding the pavé cobblestones of the ‘Trouée d’Arenberg’, the second image is a linocut poster style print, depicting the pavé of the ‘Carrefour de l’Arbre’ sector and bears the lettering ‘PARIS-ROUBAIX’
Tomorrow is the legendary Spring Classic bike race, Paris-Roubaix. I have several artworks dedicated to this event, and using the coupon code PARISROUBAIX you can get twenty percent off. Limited period. artfromthebikeshed.etsy.com
I always feel a little sad when clothing I have enjoyed wearing over years finally expires. But then I don't enjoy shopping for its replacement.
A couple of weeks ago I swung my leg over my bicycle to the accompaniment of ripping fabric. I do like to wear my clothes to destruction! Luckily it was at home, and no neighbours were traumatised by the incident.
Enjoyed listening to this @jackthurston.bsky.social The Bike Show podcast over lunchtime.

A black and white photo taken in Malmesbury. The sky is moody, with dark clouds. The trees are bare, although some shrubs in the foreground look to have buds. It is 13.55, as can be seen from the clock on St. Paul's Church Spire, the only part of the church that remains.
A view of Malmesbury, with the spire of St. Paul's Church to the left.

Probably would've been called the Jesus and Mary Chaingang

I’d feel guilty having children the way the world is going.
Labour reached rock bottom, then started using a pneumatic drill.
£2.25 for 200g of that in the supermarket!
I had an early APS-C Ricoh GR and the images were lovely, but what I didn't like was not having a viewfinder. Although I didn't mind a fixed focal length lens too much, there were times when a photo wasn't taken because of lack of lens reach.
Really looking forward to this lecture in Aberystwyth on 11th April in the Drwm, National Library, at 2.30pm for Hanes Ceredigion History. Free to all
The talk will include stacks of amazing historical & recent aerial views of Ceredigion!

Fabulous post! I’ve got some peppers growing on a south-ish facing window sill already!
It used to take weeks to break them in properly!
I also have found that Brooks don't seem to last as long - a bit like Doc Martens. I'll have a look at Berthoud (their web site isn't playing at the moment) - was thinking of a Selles Idéale.
I was feeling so pleased with myself yesterday - I’d repurposed some wheels after the originals had failed and stopped a rear brake squeal at the first attempt. Then the repurposed wheels started playing up in the same way as the old ones (freehub body failure). Sigh.
It was a pleasant day for cycling though. I ran some more errands around town (got some barley malt extract to make a malt loaf). Shocked to have been charged £5/kg for a dog bone that cost a total of £6.50!
