We are now in a war that doesn't seem to have a purpose or end.
Prices are higher than ever.
We are sending jackbooted agents to arrest some of our own citizens.
The media is controlled by oligarchs.
Open racism is now commonplace.
Tell me again how this makes us "Great" again?

Are the women back there somewhere? Yes, I think I see them.
COONS: Why is it a good idea to relieve sanctions on Iranian and Russian oil?
BESSENT: The $14 billion number is a DNC talking point
COONS: I am not the DNC. I'm the senator from Delaware
VAN HOLLEN: You said you disputed some of my facts. Do you dispute that Sheikh Tahnoon through his company invested $500m in World Liberty Financial just before the inauguration?
LUTNICK: I'm not aware of that
VAN HOLLEN: Seriously? It's been so widely reported
whoa this is unhinged
shocked not shocked anyone in trump land thought it was a good idea to put this guy in front of a microphone. wow.
VAN HOLLEN: What you've done is prove a windfall to very wealthy people who don't pay taxes
BESSENT: Why would I do that? What's your theory of the case?
VAN HOLLEN: Because this administration time after time has tiled the tax code in favor of very wealthy people

Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.
This is horrific. I feel physically ill.

Trump gutted the State Department’s Energy Bureau, firing the experts needed to handle the crisis he helped create by dragging our country into an illegal war. Gas now costs more than $4 a gallon.
We're demanding they rehire the professionals who can fix this. Now.
SMITH: You're also trying to dress up the friendly skies, telling people not to wear sweatpants to the airport
DUFFY: Yeah. Look at what Sandra Smith wears and that's what you should wear to the airport
ROBERTS: We also look forward to what the FAA has to say about the near-collision in Nashville
Meanwhile his voice sounds like a Furby losing its battery power trapped inside of a washer on spin cycle.
TUR: It appears the president is more desperate in this moment. Do you agree?
LAWLER: Well, let's look back. Obama engaged in a 7-month conflict in Libya--
TUR: We don't need to go back to Obama. Let's stick w/ Trump
LAWLER: Excuse me, excuse me. Yes we do.
TUR: How does that make this war okay?
BALDWIN: Do you think NIH should fund less cancer research?
RFK Jr: No, they should fund more, & one of the few agencies that got a raise in the budget was NCI
B: That increase is less than $1m for an institute with a $7b budget. That's a .01% increase. It wouldn't even cover one additional grant
Warsh claimed that the Wall Street Journal had bad sources. Their source was Donald Trump himself. Either Trump lied to the Journal or Warsh just committed perjury.
"Up to now, moderates have seemed more scared of primaries and the wrath of Trump than of their own Trump-skeptical voters. But as midterms loom, and Trump's approval stagnates at historic lows, the calculus appears to be changing. That bodes ill for Johnson — and for his party’s 2026 prospects."
JUST IN: A federal judge has tossed a defamation lawsuit Kash Patel brought against former FBI official / pundit Frank Figliuzzi.
Figliuzzi’s claim that Patel spent more time in nightclubs than at FBI HQ was “rhetorical hyperbole,” the judge rules.

The Constitution says the President negotiates treaties, but they don't take effect until Congress ratifies them. In other words, Congress gives a treaty the force of law. Once done, the President is bound by it. He does not have the authority to violate it.
Trump does not understand this.
"For some reason, international leaders keep searching for the real Donald Trump," writes former US Chief of Staff Miles Taylor.
"I want to put this to rest once and for all. I’ve seen behind the curtain. There’s no deeper layer, and people are dying because of it."

If not for Trump, what's the emoluments clause for? What's impeachment for? What's the 25th Amendment for? What's section 3 of the 14th Amendment for? What are checks and balances for?
The baddies are cherrypicking the Constitution the same way they do the bible: for their own benefit.
“The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant and so devastating that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored because it cannot survive their being repeated.”
—Justice Robert H. Jackson, Chief American Prosecutor, Nuremberg, 1946

"The one we don't watch?"
"No, she's younger and this one's blonde."
"She's had work done."
"David someone."
