🚌 The guidance used to assess ‘safe’ walking routes to school is over 20yrs old and not fit for purpose — it doesn't even require a pavement.
❌ Labour have used that document to remove school transport from over 8,000 kids.
🟡 Today we brought a motion requesting a local review.
🥀 They blocked it.

⚖️ The Labour administration have completely abdicated their responsibilities.
👨👨👦👦 The SNP will always stand by the parents, carers and pupils of South Lanarkshire in the face of a dismissive Labour administration that continuously ignores the concerns of our communities.
We have submitted an urgent business request to discuss Labour’s cuts to school transport at the Executive Committee meeting this morning.
We demand that Councillors have a chance to scrutinise the final details of the cuts before they are introduced - this may be the last opportunity.
LABOUR JOIN FORCES WITH TORIES AND REFORM SNP WORKING FOR SOUTH LANARKSHIRE
At today’s Executive Committee the SNP Group proposed Cllr Ross Clark as the Council’s Youth Champion.
However, Labour and the Lib Dems joined forces with the Tories and Reform UK to vote through the Labour candidate.
Labour once again prioritising their unionist pact over good local governance.
"Beating heart"! Labour didn't even bother to tell us before they announced the hormone enriched beef deal!
#Undecided? Ask yourself if that's an equal partnership
#Unionist? Do you feel at the beating heart of government? Will you eat it to show you believe in the Union?

The privatised water companies in England have faced criticism for huge bonuses, underinvestment and environmental issues.
Scottish Water reinvests all its revenue - approximately £800 million annually - into infrastructure and services ensuring that profits are used to benefit the public.
So, 42 Labour MPs have grown a backbone. I wonder if at least another 150 will develop enough self awareness that they were elected by their constituents to be more than lobby fodder and grow one too?
This keeps coming up
Why have we never gone down this path 🤬🏴
I've taken many people from the UK (England) to Scottish beaches.
They were very surprised, some parts of the 'British Isles' were as beautiful as this.
Why on EARTH is Scotland not Independent?
SNP ministers have not been given a pay rise. If you hear different, it's a lie.
The 2026 Holyrood election is to choose 129 Members of the Scottish Parliament who are responsible for making laws on devolved issues - education, health, justice & transport for Scotland. We mustn’t let the Unionist parties take this from us - an election at Holyrood may never be so crucial again.
Keir Starmer apologising for the Labour Party
Labours new line of attack in Scotland is to get all MPs and MSPs to message Scottish government are crap and have been for 18 years No policies just lies lies lies Yes things could be better but the UK government keep cutting the pocket money they give us Time to be in control of our own destiny
Prof. Danny Dorling writes: When UK countries and regions are compared, child poverty is now lowest in Scotland.
This wasn’t always the case. The immediate reason for this turnaround in Scotland has been the introduction of the Scottish Child Payment.

BBC NEWS: Labour exodus in Bolsover: Councillors rebel against Starmer's policies, citing lost principles and the plight of the vulnerable. The party's future hangs in the balance as dissent grows in local ranks.

Contrast the lies told back in 2014 in order to keep us in this despotic, unholy union, Compared to the reality of still being in this so called voluntary alliance that has no clear exit means. Now you tell me that we are truly #BetterTogether
I think not.

“The world has changed” says Chancellor on #bbclaurak.
Yes it has - so why stick to outdated counterproductive austerity agenda & arbitrary fiscal rules? You can’t cut your way to growth. Taxes on extreme wealth of super rich would be fairer & more effective than more cuts @patmillsuk.bsky.social
