Q: Ken Paxton said requiring the Ten Commandments in public classrooms is a ‘major victory for our moral values.’ Your response?
Talarico: I’m not sure if Ken Paxton is in a place to lecture us on moral values. The only thing worse than a tyrant is a tyrant who thinks they’re on a mission from God.

kinda telling that the screed is from the guy who wrote "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder"
I firmly believe presidents & people with control over medical agencies should understand percentages!
If *you* don’t, no judgment; I will explain in the next couple posts how they work. The short version is that Senator Warren is correct in the clip, and there’s NO interpretation in which RFKJr is
a recent graduate wrote me to tell me they were "a Texas A&M alumni," am I allowed to politely correct them?

Tell me again that the FBI should be able to search FISA databases for information about US persons without first obtaining a warrant based on probable cause. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/22/u...
the way this makes sense for RFK is that "healthy people" and "sick people" are ontological categories.
There's a weirdo dipshit I hadn't thought of in a while.
If your name is Joshua Brown just don't use Tesla automated features!
To say nothing of everyone else who should remain extra cautious.
Damn near wrecked him.
Starting a mid-decade redistricting war only to end up with -1 seats is the same fine strategic genius and subtle grasp of game theory that brough us the Strait of Hormuz.
The GOP entered this redistricting under the rather childish delusion they were going to gerrymander, and nobody would gerrymander them. In TX, MO, and a half dozen other states, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind

I would really like to experience this subgenre.
I went with an actual thing unlike some of the other responses.
The original Sony Sports Walkman, which was infinitely cooler and better than the cheap Walmart sourced portable it replaced.
The original Sony Sports Walkman was the first piece of decent quality, portable audio equipment that I owned.
I've had birria ramen 3 times in the last year from two different places, all of which were really good.
This on the other hand is likely quite annoying, but I have to admire the attempt.
I simultaneously love and hate this.

One of my other answers is "Fools Gold" by the Stone Roses, which I've often said is my favorite song over 9 minutes.
"Mr Blue Sky" by ELO is another answer to the OP and also a Strong Songs episode I just re-listened to. It's a much earlier episode so it's not as detailed as the later ones.
And @kirkhamilton.com is right here. Mr Blue Sky seems fitting in more way that one.
Likely. :)

I'm with you on that.
Guano from South America likely started the Irish potato famine.
I thought this was good news until it seemed that he was more reasonable and was ready to go back to joint primaries, but the other folks didn't learn anything.
