New PEPFAR Data Show Worrying Declines in Testing and Treatment for H.I.V.

BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS: In just one year, 159,272 adults and 16,954 children died of AIDS because Trump and Musk took a chainsaw to PEPFAR and laughed about it. This article makes ZERO mention of those numbers.

*They're doing the same thing to us in America now.*

This clear-eyed indictment of a supine Congressional majority ought to give these Senators pause - but I know they're not going to take one word of it to heart. You are an oasis in this dry and needy American desert.

Last year Kanye West took out a Super Bowl ad to sell swastika t-shirts.

This weekend he sold out two shows at SoFi Stadium.

To all of those in attendance—what the fuck is wrong you.

That’s a rhetorical question.

In the machine, we are always forgetting, chasing the same discourses and panics in circles. Instead of making restitution, we wait for the cycle to erase the screen and carry on as before. Stay long enough and everything rhymes with something that gave you scars, but that everyone else has forgotten. Resolution eludes us online even more than off. But then, the paradox: Nothing stays gone, either. Fast search resuscitates archives without even a bump in load time. Screenshots jump networks and decades; we have the receipts. Somewhere between the continual etch-a-sketch and structurally eidetic memory, the provisional and crucial ties of solidarity recede, always just out of reach.

A headline saying “JK Rowling is very unseat after David Tennant called transphobes ‘little whining fuckers’” over photos of JK Rowling and David Tennant.

A headline saying “JK Rowling is very unseat after David Tennant called transphobes ‘little whining fuckers’” over photos of JK Rowling and David Tennant.

In David’s defense, the only reason he said that transphobes like JK Rowling are little whinging fuckers is because they are, in fact, little whinging fuckers.

By now you have to wonder why this cardboard-cutout Court even bothers to go through the motions. Trump proposes and the Court disposes - of everything that was decent and right and beneficial and good about America, of the high calling and values we cherished for centuries, of any aspect of American law and ethics and care for the world that we had ever held dear.

Politico, aka "Temu Breitbart", quietly anti-trans in this graf from the TX Senate race:

"Republicans [are] using [Talarico's] own words against him on everything from running a vegan state Senate campaign to calling **men in women’s sports** a 'far-right conspiracy'..."

Pick-me MAGA wannabes.

Awesome! I'll be there presenting on Pup History. As a full time service dog for my Master of 17 years, hypnosis is key to making it work, and I've found over decades that Pup Play and erotic hypnosis go hand-in-paw.

A telling data point for how #SCOTUS's docket has shifted:

From the last major jurisdictional reforms in June 1988 to August 2004, the Court granted certiorari "before judgment" (leapfrogging the federal courts of appeals) a total of 3 times.

8/2004–2/2019: 0 grants.

2/2019–present: *26* grants.

1/2. He took the greatest military force in history, lost a war to a middle power in a week, begged the world to save him, & demanded the media lie about this & everything else. I try, but at a simple human level I do not see how anyone mistakes this man’s almost supernatural weakness for strength.

Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign.

Together we were able to do things never seen in American politics, to set a new standard from what we should expect from the people who try to represent us.

What we built matters, regardless of the outcome. And the work isn’t over.

A first-time candidate who came onto the scene as a young TikTok’er getting over 25% in a crowded primary against other elected officials seems like an objectively strong electoral performance, whatever your thoughts on the candidate might be. She did something right with voters:
