If he's such a great negotiator, maybe he needs to talk to Iran and see what we can do get out of this mess. Or better yet! Send someone who understands Iran and how they think about us. This man is on a fast track to memory care.

I saw a dermatologist today for the routine skin scan. I've been zapped with liquid nitrogen at least four times and had one small carcinoma cut off my leg. I thought I was in good shape today, but no, the blowtorch came out again. Wear your hat!

Don't be deceived. Yes, they're driven to defend their country. But they're exhausted, downtrodden, and morale is sinking as more and more die and disappear. The US must help with more than empty promises.

HARBOR DAYS AND WHITE NIGHTS The first stop on our Holiday cruise was Charlotte Amalie in St Thomas. We docked at 8 a.m., but slept in and ordered room service. If you don't like anything else, this one thing is a fabulous benefit of cruising. We love sitting on our own balcony with croissants, jam, endless coffee, and fresh-squeezed real orange juice or anything else we might prefer. Afterwards, we exited the ship to walk to the main harbor area. However, we were far away, and the walk was very long. After walking about a third of the way there, a security officer drove up and offered us a lift in his luxurious golf cart.

Shipboard treats and benefits make cruising relaxing and never boring.

These people have been empowered by the flaccid behavior of Senate & House since Trump took office. There is no respect.

I'm only days away from sending off my manuscript to my publisher. Nervous. I and 5 other people (smart ones) have been through it several times. Lots of changes, rewrites, and tightening. When will I know it's ready? How do you know when your baby is ready to fly?

I'm (hopefully)on the final pass of edits and rewrites on my current WIP. Kathryn Stockett's THE HELP was rejected 60 times. It took her 5 years to complete. She kept working, perfecting her craft and the book. I don't want to spend 5 years on this, but it deserves my best.

“Roughing It” in the Caribbean We boarded our small cruise ship on December 19, 2025. We'd taken the 'red eye' from Phoenix the day before and spent the night in a hotel near the cruise harbor. The flight, as usual, was easy. The airports, as usual, were not. We don't mind flying at all, it's the airports we can't stand. Larry had searched out and found a terrific deal to get us to San Juan. We got First Class seats for about the price of Premium Economy. The only problem: we left at 1 a.m. So we took the shuttle to Phoenix, and after checking our one suitcase, we dragged our carry-on to the Admiral Club, our premium tickets in hand.

We decided to take a cruise to warmer waters - The Caribbean!

New year tasks to do are always and forever a pain: Tax reports, toss the clutter, update pricing on my books (need to make a profit, for Pete's sake), order supplies, schedule appointments, shop for a new printer - and so it goes. Not to mention working on the WIP - NOW! 😒

Mine - any kind, fresh from the oven with butter melting and dripping into every crevice. I prefer crusty crust. Bring a napkin.😉
