How many artists are soooo bad at being empathetic/chill/understanding. It’s also often that the artists making the worst/most insufferable art are the artists with unhinged egos/ holier than thou attitudes.
Also should be said- this isn’t an opinion I’d share with GP, but with the girls who get it
I love it when the artists I interface with at my day job (comms director at art center) try to pull some shit that might work on an admin who’s not an artist but on me I damn well know they’re trying to pull one over on me.

Very small non-profit of me to do price comparisons for commercial grade floor mats for about an hour, to help keep salt from spreading through my job's facilities only to decide that it's too expensive and not in our budget but feeling the pang of needing these mats.
Currently acting as a creative producer on a friend's opera and it's such a dream to 1) have the inherent trust from the lead artist 2) be able to pitch fantastical crazy ideas and have them well received 3) hire a combo of my friends and yet-to-be friends to make those ideas actually happen :)
