Thoroughly enjoyed @portybookfest.bsky.social yesterday. The Unheard Voices panel showed writing's power to build community, especially during tough times. Brilliant contributions from fellow writers @stephenchristopher.bsky.social & Jim Aitken & chair Debbie Menezes. Thanks to all who came.

Saw this today and loved it. This writing duo excels at taking serious social issues like loneliness and addiction and exploring them with humour and big hearts. Great performances, nicely-judged staging, definitely one to catch!

Night, Idiot review at Òran Mór: intelligent writing Read our review of Night, Idiot at Òran Mór: promising playwright Zoë Bullock's intelligent tale of a missing man features strong performances

Really enjoyed Zoe Bullock's Night, Idiot, the latest @playpiepint.bsky.social show.

It is a cleverly conceived Sliding Doors story about a man who goes missing. Well worth catching at Oran Mor, or in Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
