Took almost a year, but I built a bird house based off the beautiful Dat Dog restaurant on Magazine Street in New Orleans. Really proud of this. Also, it now lights up.
A whole lot of popsicle sticks and glue and paint and love.
I got a real live space rock today from a real life space scientist.

I made these bowls on a pottery wheel with the ghost of Patrick Swayze sitting behind me. I'm very proud of them because they were just lumps of clay and now they are not. Next weekend I'm going to learn to make mugs. Feels really good to make useful things.

When I was in New Orleans I found the most beautiful building I've ever seen and I decided to turn it into a bird house. Lot of work to do, but I'm very happy with it. Whole lot of glue, popsicle sticks and coffee stirrers.
