Startling Statistics: Women Are Falling Farther Behind On Equal Pay Day, let's tell the truth about pay disparities between men and women.

Today is Equal Pay Day. Women working full-time earned 81 cents on the dollar in 2024, down from 84 cents in 2022.

The gap widened two years in a row. This is theft, conducted in broad daylight.

bad business practices to be conducted on their platform. As consumers, we have the ability to hit the billionaires who are abusing us in the wallet if credit card companies start disallowing charges to those vendors due to too many disputes, as Meta should have done itself before it came to that.

Dispute those charges with your bank or credit card. The third brand of minimal shoes I tried that did not keep my feet dry was the final straw for me.

Even Amazon drops sellers who are getting too many disputes from their platform. Meta is knowingly allowing bad business practices...

and/or taken so long to ship that I wonder if they think I've forgotten about it. I get one reply from support: "taking longer than expected but you'll get a confirmation email when it ships!" Every. Single. Email telling them to cancel and refund is undeliverable due to full mailbox...

Quite a few products I've purchased based on Meta ads lately have been not as advertised, (i.e. unclear the item was wholly or partially a digital product, shoes prominently advertised as waterproof are anything but, etc.)...
