My first real successfully attempt at colorwork is going great!! I’m really surprised. After trying colorwork socks I was feeling discouraged that it wouldn’t be able to get it, and so far the King Salmon Sweater by Caitlin Hunter has proved me wrong. It’s so fun! 🧶

It happens, and it will be worth the frog when you have socks that fit great!
Finished the body and ribbing on my highland slipover by ozetta. For a vest this thing is taking me FOREVER to finish. In the home stretch now! 🧶
Had to 🐸 my first colorwork project (expected). I made my floats too tight (I expected). I used this first attempt as my gauge swatch, so now I know I need to go up a full needle size and probably knit inside out to help with floats. It’s all a learning curve, and I’m ok with that 🧶
My friend test knitted my #thefrazzledscarf pattern and made these two gorgeous samples — the pink and purple one was made with a blown yarn, the blue and purple was made with cotton modal for a kiddo! The pattern is FREE and available now :) ravel.me/the-frazzled... 🧶🌷

Big win — I can knit in the passenger seat now without getting carsick. This opens up so many possibilities! 🧶💕
I launched my first ever FREE pattern Saturday and completely forgot to share it here 😅. The Frazzled Scarf was designed with your scrap yarns in mind and is totally customizable to your preferences. I hope you enjoy it! 🧶 ravel.me/the-frazzled... #freeknittingpattern
This shawl is a monster (in a good way) and I am about 6 rows from binding off! Which you wouldn’t think would take too long except there is like 400 stitches on this thing 😅🧶
Cute! Are you releasing the pattern? It’s perfect for spring and summer
Loving this test knit for Jen at JST Knitwear Designs. This is her fourth pattern in the Seashore series, the #seashorehug. It is a giant squishy and woolly shawl that I’m so excited to finish! 🧶
Western Washington has its first snow of the winter .. on March 13th. Spending the day knitting and sipping tea (also look at my fav new cup I thrifted!) 🧶❄️
What is it about TikTok and Insta that keeps me from being unable to engage with it only a little? It’s like I either have to have them fully deleted or I’m completely consumed by them. don’t seem to have the issues with Bsky and YT even though they too have short form videos. Anyone else?
If you are in the Kitsap County area, tonight is Knit Night down at The Tipsy Blackbird Wine bar in Bremerton! We'd love for you to join us! Starts at 5pm and we're usually upstairs :) #knitsky #kitsap #knitnight 🧶
thanks, my jaw dropped when I saw it!

Knitted my brother a perfect ski balaclava and he loves it. 🧶 pattern is Whistler Hood by Strikke Ulla!
Me scoring this 100+ year old dry wash cabinet for $40 at an estate sale = the biggest high. I’m currently cleaning it up, will post full photos soon!
I wrote up a striped scarf pattern over the winter as an ode to my favorite genre: the frazzled Englishwoman. Here are some photos from one of my test knitters 🥹. So freaking pretty, and I’ll be releasing the pattern soon! It will also be FREE!! 🧶
ARC Review: Payback by Elizabeth Rose Quinn ⚡️📚💙
Come down to LA's hottest new club, Pay to Stay. This weekend only prison has everything -- a nun, an iguana, a manipulative (and dead) CO, glitter, snail mucin face masks, and a cardboard cut out of Pete Buttigieg!
3.5 ⭐️ -- releases on 5/5/26!
I’ve been loving short books this year and WOW I was stunned by how much life and love and longing this book packed in with less than 200 pages. Such an interesting read, I wish I could read it for the first time again. 📚💙
I try to find ways to volunteer in my local community and I helped paint a nature education center that has been closed for 15 years! Excited to see it up and running for kiddos and adults alike soon.

I also knit this adorable little set to add some brightness and whimsy to the dark world we’re in right now. It’s not much, but it helps me. I wore it out for Valentine’s Day knit night 💕🧶
I’ve also been trying my hand at reverse engineering a popular cardigan design from big company — I loved the look but not the price. So far I’ve mapped out what I can and started up the back piece. I’m sharing my journey on my blog + TikTok + insta, so you can see more there
I’ve been knitting my Melt The ICE hat for a dear friend who lives in St. Paul. She has been giving me daily updates, and I’m continually astounded by the way Minnesotans are showing up for one another. I will be sending this off to her soon! 🧶
First and foremost, I just finished an ARC of Nothing Tastes As Good by Luke Dumas and it was AMAZING. such a good body horror/critique of society novel. It’s about Emmett who joins a trial for a weight loss drug but then starts having horrible side effects. So good! 📚💙🩸
Hi Bluesky! It’s been a minute 😔. I just wanted to pop on and share some things I’ve been doing/loving/reading/knitting etc since I updated you last :
Knits, tea and a heated blanket 🤍
This gauge swatch 😍😍😍 #testknit
