My church held a training to teach people how to observe ICE safely and respond in a legal way. Now some are calling for its nonprofit status to be stripped.
This is ridiculous - our democracy thrives when people are able to hold our government accountable and exercise their free speech.
It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.
Those are the kind of memories that stick with a kid for life. I love it! 😊

Senator Grassley is right about this. Across-the-board tariffs are pushing our ag economy closer to the brink. I lived in rural Iowa through the 1980s farm crisis and saw banks close and families lose their farms. We can’t afford to go through that again.
