New year = new goals:

☀️ Finish and self-publish Glitch
☀️ Write every day (no matter how little)
☀️ Post and engage more on socials
☀️ Write at least one short story each month
☀️ Finish a draft of Glitch’s sequel, The Swarm

Thanks for being with me on this journey. Let’s make this year amazing.

And that’s a wrap on L.A. Comic Con Day 3! It was another pretty slow day, but I had a blast meeting and catching up with super cool people. Here are a few who stopped by to grab GLITCH! (And of course, I forgot to get photos of some people, but they’re just as fantastic, I promise.)

Day 2 of L.A. Comic Con was a bit slower than expected, but still a great time thanks to some awesome interactions with attendees. ☀️ I remembered to get photos of a few of these awesome people 😎 but forgot some because conventions turn my brain to mush. 🫠

See me at L.A. Comic Con this weekend, in Kentia Hall at Artist Alley Table E26! It’s my last convention of the year (and my last one as Wasteland Comics before transitioning to After Worlds End Publishing next year). Who else is gonna be there? I’d love to say hi!

July’s newsletter was tough to write. But the short of it is this: GLITCH, as a comic, is on an indefinite hiatus as its artist has left the project. I’ll search for a new artist, but in the meantime, I’ll be adapting and continuing GLITCH as a series of novels to ensure fans get a complete story.

End of year lists are great and many/ most creators recognized are deserving of attention. But making comics (especially now) is hard. IF you made a comic in 2024 and you still want to make them in 2025... you deserve laurels too.
Congrats to everyone who wants to keep on keeping on.
