And then it gets relocated to a footnote…and finally deleted
But no one would ever walk away.
Tom Wolfe once used the phrase “loamy loins,” and I hate that just as viscerally.
Can you buy a gift card for some therapy sessions?
I tell ppl this all the time. We make up our own generation of ppl who were told to follow their dreams, a house is always a good investment, and a college degree will always get you a job.
I finally watched the Station Eleven miniseries. It’s a gorgeous adaptation. I’d read the book when it debuted, but the series hit me a bit harder because of the timing. The endurance of art and connection resonated pretty strongly for me. Highly recommend it for your therapeutic watchlist.
Apple Music has no Rage category here. Strange
If you still have room, I’d love to be added, thanks!

This is Birgitte, named after the fictional first female prime minister of Denmark in the tv series Borgen.

Nacho in Better Call Saul. The moment he realizes he has to die followed by that last phone call to his father. And then when he dies, it’s still shocking, even though his absence from Breaking Bad suggested he wasn’t going to make it out alive. Three gut punches in a row, and a great performance

You‘ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last tv show you watched are trying to rescue you.
Who is coming to “save” you?
If you haven’t seen the Danish tv series Borgen, it’s a treasure. I also have a weakness for German tv shows where even the “good guys” seem to be secretly awful people.
My spaniel gives me an adoring look
Here you go, Bluesky. Meet Birgitte.
What if we are both dancer and human?
I live with 3. It’s very odd to watch them occasionally tap into wild mode and the rest of the time be these hyper-emotional little beings who share my bed and pillow.
Sounds great to me. Where do I sign up?
Glad to see the nod to Less Than Zero, which incidentally also has Glenn Danzig’s best song
I would watch this show.
