Thank you! Using these to blow up things is a pretty nice idea - you can tweak how long it takes to explode (and speeds and such) so it's probably possible to pull it off in a not annoying way.

To answer the question, I think a huge next step for SMW hacking would be to turn UberASMTool into an all-in-one tool by integrating custom sprites and blocks to it. I think there's been some talk about this before, so it's worth consulting the current maintainer (Fernap)!

As my latest commission, a recreation of the classic Orbox recreation from Super Mario :P :P :P. Which is like, the hardest puzzle of all time
This version also features angled tiles that instantly bounce the ball in a different direction. That won't get too complicated at all! #smw #romhacking
Wish I coulda been showing more here, but real life, commissions and also moderation have been keeping me busy and tired.

I'm unhappy with the Director's Cut update of Aeron's Golden Cookie Quest, that I released in 2024, because I rushed it to the C3 event, so here I'm working in a Special Edition.
First, removed the minimalist status bar, which can get cut in CRT monitors and replaced it with a sprite status bar.
