I already got bad vibes when Clarivate acquired ProQuest back in 2021, and this move just affirmed their intentions. Clarivate is breaking down anything that isn't purely revenue-driven. And they're forcing AI on us, citing it as the "future of libraries."

AI should never be automatically forced on users. Add -ai to Google searches to remove it from results. I also fear what kind of misinformation or mistakes are going to result from AI being used in Microsoft 365. And we're also being charged more for subscription services to fuel it.
