2024 wasn’t a great year. My wife totaled my Avalon. I lost my job. My wife was so unhappy with our marriage that she kicked me out of the house for “space”. I was hospitalized for a suicide attempt and am now on ketamine. My house needed a lot of plumbing work and new roof. Etc. #happynewyear
Also it’s really expensive to sponsor a visa. Employers don’t take them to save money. They take them to MAKE money.
I’ve worked with H1Bs. They are the hardest working, most disciplined people I’ve met. They definitely raise the bar for output. They aren’t just “slaves”. That’s not why they are here or why they contribute to the nation. They are gifted workhorses who put the average US Joe to shame.
