Unfortunately it’s not on one of my streaming services. Surely it’ll turn up on SBS one day, just like Riot women. 🤞🏻

Yeah, I can’t binge either. One a night, MAYbe two. I like spreading it out if I’m enjoying something, have a chance to mull things over a bit. Also 😉

‘Holly’s ex-husband, formerly her boss, dismissed her complaints about misogyny at work, saying that soon it would be “someone else’s mess to deal with.”’ Not saying this is a high quality source, but still…

I spent some time last night searching and found one reference to it, which of course I have now deleted. I think he turned up to the gig, too, which isn’t proof of an earlier marriage, but supports the claim. (Now I want to find that piece of writing to share with you 😆)

You're looking at velvet malachite, Cu2CO3(OH)2.

A few warnings:
Please resist the urge to touch it to feel how soft it is.
Absolutely /do not/ lick it.
Keep far away from any Supermen.
If a wingéd creature emerges, do not agree to any pacts.

Let's talk about the science here.

Two accounts here that post curious, interesting things with no acknowledgment of source. I’ve had to block them so I stop looking.

My chum is saying that, in “Riot women”, the superintendent is Holly’s ex-husband.

Did I miss this little tid-bit or is he dreaming?

I can hear two boobook owls. Later I’ll hear some curlews. Even later, I’ll get up and watch for Lyrid meteors. Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island. (Went to Stokes Beach today and swam in the rock pool.)

Last night, at the little, modest, pretty church in Penneshaw, we saw a fabulous concert of harp pieces by a well-known (to others, anyway) Canadian harpist, Josh Layne. #KangarooIsland5222

Our neighbours here at Penneshaw, #KangarooIsland5222 taking off. We got a wave and then later, after I stopped filming (🤨), over the ocean, the pilot did a barrel roll for us!

The kind of AI that techbros and governments are pushing is not the internet, or cell phones, or personal computers, or heavier than air flying machines, or the wheel.

It's the digital equivalent of asbestos, plastics, teflon, and lead.

A Newly Discovered Recording Lets You Hear Delta Blues Legend Robert Johnson in Stunning Clarity Great swathes of rock music since the nineteen-sixties would never have existed, we're sometimes told, were it not for the recordings of Robert Johnson. Certainly the likes of Keith Richards, Eric Cla...

“Though the “king of the Delta blues singers” left behind only this small body of work after his still-unexplained death at the age of 27, it’s been endlessly scrutinized by the genre’s enthusiasts.” Robert Johnson…

An embroidery of a moth-creature with six arms and eight wings. The eyes are bright red, four on the face and many along the wings as well. There is a rainbow pattern within the wings, and a gold crown floating above the head.

A picture of a rather dilapidated copy of "The picture of Dorian Gray" There is visible water damage to the cover and the plastic cover is yellowing. Obviously, not evident from the picture but there is a truly foul musty smell emanating from it!

Last week, a gentleman returned this rather dilapidated copy of this famous book to us after 50 years. He had found it in his attic!
Presumably this means there is a pristine copy somewhere in our libraries....

Nope. Kangaroo. I’ve almost stopped wondering why all the signs include “KI” on them. “What’s key?” I ask myself, and then remember. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Kangaroo Island. All the signage includes KI (and I got sick of writing it here 😆).

I’ve had the same editor since 1967. Many times he has said to me over the years or asked me, Why would you use a semicolon instead of a colon? And many times over the years I have said to him things like: I will never speak to you again. Forever. Goodbye. That is it. Thank you very much. And I leave. Then I read the piece and I think of his suggestions. I send him a telegram that says, OK, so you’re right. So what? Don’t ever mention this to me again. If you do, I will never speak to you again
