I am looking for new authors to force me to change up my habits of always going to sci-fi / adjacent stuff. Do you have an author you love that might not be well known? Also: do you have a favorite anthology series outside sci-fi/fantasy realms?
I think the most annoying part of an AI toolset is the constant affirmation it gives. "Your instincts are solid — these are the right top 3 priorities" NO SHIT MY DUDE I KNOW MY INSTINCTS ARE SOLID I AM ASKING YOU TO HELP DIGEST SOME DATA NOT TELL ME I AM "SOLID".

If it helps - current IEM solutions for musicians are really good at eliminating noise and keeping things clear. NOT CHEAP for good ones but they exist and the pros use them for a reason.

I've seen it both ways. I'm not in California, but in our area I've seen affordable housing plans get NIMBYd to death, and I've also seen them improved with public input. But that's... here. I know the bay area has a LOT of baggage around that topic comparatively.

I use theoldreader / RSS feeds and hit a bunch of blogs I’ve followed for years (ie yours). I hit it every few weeks and it feels like a warm hug. Like visiting old friends.
