Did you then subsequently avail yourself of the widely publicised Freepost details for the "national political party" to return the aforementioned soiled item?

Could someone tell her that the DPP doesn't conduct interviews, that's the Police, SFO and other agencies. The DPP may make the final judgement call on whether or not to prosecute. Even under S62(3)(a) of SOCPA 2005 the DPP can only compel an individual to answer questions, not question directly.

"Well let's give them a go" is like saying Garage A took a year and didn't fix my car, Garage B has had it for a month and it still isn't working so why not let my neighbour's 8 year old son have a go. I despair at times, I truly do.

Is he still banging on about it being Number 1, without mentioning that it's No. 1 in the Sunday Times Non-Fiction paperback chart, off the back of less than 5,000 copies/week. That's comparable with Harrogate Town's attendances and they're currently languishing the bottom of League 2...

You don't have to use lithium battery technology for grid-level energy storage. Pumped-heat electricity storage may be less efficient than pumped hydro or battery, but it's cheaper and can provide storage for long durations. There are various options; thermal mass, molten salt, etc.

Wow. So you'll probably remember when The Still on Kent Road was still a pub? Getting to Pompey from North or East of London was always tricky, even the train must be 3 or 4 hours I guess. Still, it's changed so much that maybe just savour the memories. Do love seeing your Portsmouth paintings.

Now that's a view that hasn't change. A lovely paining that really captures the feel of the Hard. And both the beer and food in The Ship Anson are apparently as fine as they ever were. It'd be a shame if it weren't on display somewhere.

When I was living in Bath Square in the early 90s it hadn't really changed much. It was almost exactly as you describe it then, but so much has changed in the last 30 years I hardly recognise some places.

"A sane person running the world"? Seriously? There should never be a singular person "running the world".

An area spoiled - in my opinion - by the monstrosity that is the Ben Ainslie Racing building. The Bridge is still a cracking pub, or at least was the last time I visited. The fish market's good, and bits of the Camber seem unchanged, but that chuffing building...

Love your sketches and paintings of Portsmouth. They capture the feel of the place which hadn't changed too much when I lived in Bath Square in the early 90s

November 1982 (I think), Guildford, Love Over Gold tour and a 17 year Clive in attendance. May 1992, Rotterdam, On Every Street tour and I saw them for the last time. Jealous? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Not only quick but simple solutions. Too many people seem to be in denial at just how complex the world is and demand simple solutions delivered quickly. And they're not prepared to accept any response to the contrary. So politicians pander instead of making a convincing counter-argument.

Not sure there's anything we can do in the short term beyond deciding what to do for the longer term that isn't simply kicking the can down the road. Could be me being pessimistic, but this feels like a "We f*cked up, let's not f*ck up this way again" sort of moment.

REs are recyclable though, not a use and lose resource. Maybe in addition to increasing the use of renewable technologies we could expand the recycling sector.

Raymond Schiller and the Golden Promise Ministry would be all over this, but in addition to their other activities, not instead of. Are we sure that we're not experiencing bleed through from Bob's universe?

No ignoring, just one of those silly Saturdays where I wake at 5am and realise I no longer have the dog to walk, but can't get back to sleep. So put on my domestic god hat and get busy with housework. Meanwhile the sky is blue, the sun is shining and I'm enjoying a coffee and this view. Have fun๐Ÿ˜Š

Multiple new outlets have reported it, many right-leaning including Daily Heil and Torygraph, but also ITV News. Seems very on-brand for Farage who wrote an article opposing smoking bans in the Independent as far back as 2015. And he opposed the original 2007 ban.

First substantial computer I ever used was a PDP 8 and I'm pretty sure that my muscle memory is sufficient for me to be able to toggle in the RIM bootloader successfully on the second (or third attempt). It's been 40+ years and no idea what use this "skill" would be today, but... ๐Ÿ˜Ž
