Ill probably still try to force learn the new stuff because I just love happy chaos as a character but arc sys fucked it with this one. I dont think they play their own game honestly. I havent seen them get a single one right. Its crazy the stuff they let exist / fail to fix.

They took the needle past balanced to id be surprised if the char has rep at the next tourny if its this patch. Unless theres some crazy thing im missing i dont get why youd play the char over any other easier to play more saucy character. Probably not getting buffed again because lmao.

So happy chaos feels like really bad on first impressions. A lot of my muscle memory from combos is dead. A lot of the old routing is dead. Its almost entirely new but bad new? Gun pull feels like trash. Bullet mid combo feels like trash. Resources aren't free any more.

When a new game is made you may not have the support for the old game at all or much longer, but it acts as a time capsule a way to relive happy memories. I cannot easily reclaim what will be leaving tomorrow. I just have to make peace with it.

I have like a lot of thoughts on the new GG Strive patch. Debating if I should make a video talking about it. But essentially im grieving the loss of something I loved. The game as a whole will be better but I dont think they had to kill what made me fall in love with it.
