Today, we see the fruit of 5+ years of teamwork. We have built a map of the neutrophil compartment (mostly in mice - but also humans). It provides a biological structure that focuses on a single immune cell lineage to discover the many ways in which neutrophils "interpret" physiology.

Plus there's more: @thjournal.bsky.social asked us to write a comprehensive update on #immunothrombosis and #thromboinflammation - another fun collab with Christoph Gold and Konstantin Stark @lmumuenchen.bsky.social

Read more above - kudos and congratulations to lead author Kami Pekayvaz and senior authors @immunothrombosis.bsky.social and Konstantin Stark!
Happy to share the most recent work from our lab, now out in #Immunity @cp-immunity.bsky.social - a single-cell atlas of mammalian thrombosis that uncovers unexpected traits of #neutrophil-#monocyte interplay in a process termed "immunothrombolysis". Read more below!
All in all, a great week for our lab filled with translationally relevant new findings - stay tuned for more! 4/4

Out on the same day, an exciting study from Thomas Thiele's lab at Uni Greifswald describes an intricate mechanism of histone/anti-histone IgG-mediated platelet activation in anti-PF4 negative thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndrome in@bloodadvances.bsky.social (ashpublications.org/bloodadvance...)
In the same issue, @adriangottsch.bsky.social from the Kobold lab at @lmumuenchen.bsky.social LMU Klinikum München describes a revolutionary and exciting strategy approach to classic Hodgkin lymphoma using single-cell omics and a CD86-based CAR T cell approach.

Excited to share the most recent work from our lab and results from two exciting cooperations:
In this week's issue of @bloodjournal.bsky.social (ashpublications.org/blood/issue), Afra Anjum presents her cover story on how aging platelets gain inflammatory functions in the circulation. 1/4
