i broke my arm out of state and out of network; so before my home state stepped in, the price was actually $6,000 higher than what i ended up having to pay

in 2024 i broke my arm; so i went to the ER where i got an x-ray, a cast, and a tetanus shot that i initially told the doc not to give me b/c it would increase the bill.
