Oops, correction, it's from Dynamite. Got my license-grabbers mixed up.

Well, there's a Thundarr comic from Mad Cave, #2 came out this month. You could inquire about picking up the next arc....
The cover of Justice Inc, a Hero System TTRPG of playing heroes in the 1920s and 1930s. A masked hero in a tuxedo fends off a vaguely ethnic man in a turban while a woman in front of him clutches a sheet over her body.
Of course, after getting off Justice Machine, my mind next went to the Justice Inc. TTRPG.
(Belatedly, I wonder what Zalgo text does in a speech synth.)

Sorry, went sideways, been a long day. :)
These days, Georwell is looking almost like escapist fantasy....
The two main MAGA-meme styles I'd describe as "Inspirational Oil Painting" (like Doctor Trump) and "Ben Garrison Editorial Cartoon Meets Infographic Woodenness". I've been seeing purportedly lefty memes in the latter style a lot lately. At least find a different prompt template, people.
I'm starting to wonder if "progressive" memes that look like they use the same AI meme generators as the MAGAts use are actually an op, to play the "both sides" card in visual space.
(Seriously, if you want to make leftie memes, study MAGAt memes and then DON'T LOOK LIKE THEM.)
Doctor Morocco from the cartoon Transformers Rescue Bots. He is dressed in a vaguely Victorian fashion, with a monocle and tied sleeves, as befits a steampunk-era survivor.
One of his last roles before the stroke, Doctor Morocco. (Another voice actor took over the role after this.)
No one seems to really pay attention to that whole lead-in part. They just see yellow ribbons as a signal that they won't abandon someone just for being gone. That's a nice sentiment, but the song is about someone gone due to their own fault. Not a hostage, not an innocent. 5/5
...if she doesn't want him back, he'll "put the blame on me," if he doesn't see a ribbon. And apparently he told everyone on the bus his story (I mean, he was picked up at prison, so they'd knew that part), since they were all cheering when they saw 100 yellow ribbons 'round the old oak tree. 4/
The problems is...the singer of that song is coming home from three years in prison. Not being held hostage, not serving overseas in the military. He was in prison. For crimes. He never specifies what, but neither does he ever imply he didn't deserve it. He explicitly says he understands... 3/
Back in 1980, during the Iran Hostage Crisis, it became an anthem of wanting the hostages to return home. People started tying yellow ribbons around trees. I even sang the song over my school's PA system (I was 10 at the time) at the principal's request. The Yellow Ribbon thing has stuck HARD. 2/
While "Born in the USA" still tops my list of songs that Americans love to play but don't understand, I think a more long-lasting and insidious cultural impact has come from misunderstanding "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree." 1/
Much better than the MLP outfit I ran across yesterday, that's for sure. (Asshole in a MLP ahegao shirt, at an all-ages comic convention, the living embodiment of why "brony" is so often an insult.)
Extremely normal and fine for a company to put this in a public statement
Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.
“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

Without stating your age, post your favorite film released the year you turned 18. (I decided to narrow it to my favorite the month I turned 18, made picking easier.)
Well, this is the Texas Panhandle. The fan interaction could've been even worse. :/
TREE LAW! TREE LAW! TREE LAW! TREE LAW!
Really getting tired of foods I used to like going down the enshittification path of "hot is a flavor," where they just add cheap heat-spices to cover for lack of actual flavor (or bad flavors). It's like the bad old days of adding lots of spices to cover for spoiled meat.
Will the Strait of Hormuz stay open? Well, keep an eye on any White House insiders buying oil futures....
But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made.
Mamdani: If the NYC apartment you keep solely for bi-yearly affairs with your mistress costs over 5 million dollars, you gotta pay more tax
NYPD officer who’s been on disability since 2006 because he stomped too hard on a lady during an arrest and fucked up his ankle: This is a travesty
Importing meds illegally from overseas looks more and more ethically defensible....
Flammable and inflammable mean the same thing. Tuition and intuition do not.
guys, this is how you lose the time war
