A newborn gripping his fatherâs finger
What a beautiful terrifying wonderful night. Welcome to the world, Teddy.
I canât believe people just like, give birth at 4am
Been hot on this since the EA launch, very excited for 1.0!
@dannyodwyer.bsky.social covered it real well on noclip_2 youtu.be/y6ctrsRV4Us?...
From my latest Japan trip, I explored Tokyoâs Game Centers and covered the many racing games Iâm obsessed with.

Congrats!! So deserved
Youâre too kind! Youâre giving everyone a million dollars worth of game for $1!!!
Frankly if you sign up at this price youâre ripping Chris off, but heâs letting you do it, so try not to feel too bad. Seriously one of the best shows in games, with somehow even more depth and value on Patreon. SO good!
Amazon will be offering refunds via arbitration, unfortunately the judge is uhhhh
Adorable!!
Theyâre so bad Derek. Every time Iâve asked for suggestions at the book store they just tell me to read them whatever we have fun reading. Sorry kid, Crime & Punishment it is!
Crimson Desert is a chore-some slog, trapped under the weight of its own scale.
Its muddled post-release patching has sanded away any points of friction, leaving only busywork and a dull world full of boring characters.
It's a bad video game.

Yeah No Iâm Not a Human is the closest to getting what about the circumstances in which youâre making these decisions would do to normal people. Such a well considered idea
Actually I think that game is the most well-considered version of this idea, but youâre right that itâs in that category. Thereâs Quarantine Zone & Shift at Midnight, but thereâs also a bunch of similar ideas that arenât so violent but do gamify authority in an accidentally uncomfortable way
Here's my massive interview with Sunset Visitor and Black Tabby Games - where we dive into the AI stories in literature colliding with the state of "AI" in 2026, how the CAPTCHA system is an "act of violence," and the ever ongoing funding for indies issue www.cgmagonline.com/interviews/1...
Also, I cannot stress enough how âtaking a breakâ by using every single preset in After Effects at a pace that might cause an epileptic seizure isnât exactly relaxing
Fuck that's basically it. What if I just think cold, fascistic bureaucracy is a good time?
Not what I'm referring to! I think THAT game is going to be great, I was repping 1000xResist hard. But there was another game (name escapes me) from that showcase that was literally about proving if NPCs are human
also as an aside I think there's something very About Our Times having, in the same showcase, a game called "prove you're human" and a game where you run a store and have to check IDs to see if people are human or not
An AI dares to dream that she is human. Youâve been hired to put her in her place.
Weâre sunset visitor ćé˝é厢, the creators of 1000xRESIST, and this is our next game: Prove Youâre Human.

âI scanned their ID to check if theyâre a person and theyâre not so I blew them up with my friends!â That shit makes me viscerally uncomfortable, but I guess Iâm an outlier
Maybe Iâm turning into a huge baby but there are way too many games where you have to verify peopleâs humanity and then immediately kill them
Exact same thing happened to me, Jake please post the winning lottery numbers thanks
Yeah thereâs really not that much Control overlap other than some B Plot stuff thatâs inferred. Youâve played more than enough to understand what you need to.

As a treat
Getting to roleplay the lead up to apocalypse every few weeks is always good for the brain. It gives you a chance to consider whether you want your last moments to be spent doing work, before they walk back The End, leaving you to just sorta live with that feeling until the next time.
