Aside from naming inns, another fun thing about writing epic fantasy stuff is naming ships.

Today, I wanted indicate sleekness/speed, etc etc, so I went with something simple: Wave Racer and I'm happy enough that it'll probably make it to the final draft :D

Roses are plants that did not originally exist on this planet. However, anyone who learns of their origin would be surprised.

When I re-read / re-watch a favourite series, I always get that fun feeling, as though the characters are old friends, and in my head it's basically just "Yay!" the whole time - that's what I want my Book of Never series to do to someone, somewhere :D

I just saw the absolute worst take regarding Taskmaster - just bafflingly bad.

At least, baffling until I remind myslef that nearly everything posted online is merely bait for clicks, a certain percentage of which will be bots, anyway.

It *is* still scheduled for a 2026, however!

The book is actually going to be longer than originally planned, at least, so that's a silver lining :) Thanks for waiting for me!
