Might put the new random pickler through its paces tonight.
Or, if I get some time at my desk today I've got something else to set up.
That sounds more fun than work
Nooooooooo! ๐ฑ I hope not long to go?
Fat scruffy twerp with a pint
We made it, happy Friday!
Not this time
Oh my, this is very broken
A ZX Spectrum + keyboard membrane sits upon a box that has the word ASS in big red letters
New keyboard membrane arrived, the Toastie is whole again.
And so far no sign of a haunted . key!
Pint of Best Bitter
Mid week recharge required!
#ZX81 And now we can fly ๐, and crash into stuff. All coming along nicely.
This is looking lovely!
I wont even go to the corner shop in those
With some of the sights I've seen you're not wrong!
Nah I was the best dressed person there
I normally slop down my top which can then be hidden with a jacket
I've just walked to Home Bargains and back with bolognese sauce on my jeans
This looks absolutely fantastic!
A code monkey doing boring shitty web stuff.
Thanks!
Meh, back to work today after 11 lovely days off ๐
I have zero memory of this stream so I cant answer your question or comment on any of the games played ๐คฃ I'll have to take a deep breath, hold my nose and watch it back
Perhaps the bubble sheet is made of slightly thinner rubber on the 48K, it has a hefty metal backing panel though! (When I get a new membrane I might do a swapsie on the back panel too)
This was the first model of Speccy I ever used. Am surprised to discover it has a very slightly different feel to the Toastrack
ZX Spectrum + with diagnostic expansion attached
Photo of TV showing diagnostics in progress
A few days ago I acquired a Speccy + 48K. Keyboard was dead and I was feeling too rough to perform the membrane transplant from the Toastie.
Happy to report it is working perfectly in all its RF glory
Cheers
Happy to report feeling almost human
I took it down ages ago I'm afraid, have the vod still which I shall attempt audio fixes on
One day I'll have a go at fixing the audio on my first ever stream (used laptop internal mic with a noise reduction filter that made me sound like I was in a fish tank ๐)
How about the very first appearance of the random pickler?
How things have progressed since!
