This illegal war on Iran is benefitting very few people and screwing everyone else now and in the future.
No real problem with ordinary folks asking about the 25th, but every time a congressman asks for the cabinet to remove a president you should read that as them abdicating their own duty to pursue impeachment through congress

Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.
ICE agents came to a military base and grabbed the newlywed wife of a soldier who's about to deploy.
The wife came to the U.S. as a toddler.
She has no criminal record.

but then barnett and wurman and the rest are not actually doing scholarship, they are doing hack work for a political cause. they would strip citizenship from millions to advance their careers and standing. they are beneath contempt. i would respect them more if they owned up to it.
Don't get me wrong: I'm relieved that this case is shaping up as either 8-1 or 7-2 against the Trump executive order. But the case is a gift to the Supreme Court. By rejecting an outlandish position, it will earn credibility as apolitical, even as the Overton window moves far to the right.

The fact this is even before the Supreme Court today shows how extreme Trump's nominees have taken it, how broken it is, and why we MUST reform the Court.

Presidents typically get too much blame/credit for the economy because they have very few levers
But of the few levers he has, Trump is pulling all of them in the bad direction:
-higher gas prices from an immoral war
-higher costs from tariffs
-less health care and food assistance from OBBBA cuts
Awful. A teenager, dead by suicide in an ICE detention center. There is now a crisis of suicide inside the detention system; I have never seen anything like it. Suicide has happened before, but they were very rare. This is the third or fourth this year.
Several election experts, including some who watched the audit of Maricopa County’s election in person in 2021, said any investigation based on the data would be fatally flawed.
