We were lucky enough to be able to move out for a few months and live with family during the worst bit. Though, as you know, we had some issues on our return and it took a long time to have a functional home. The key for us was to keep the end goal in mind and retain a sense of humour 🙈😂

I was an NQT in a private school - it wasn’t that unusual for people to go to the pub for a swift half at lunch time. Seems absolutely bonkers now, though! (I hasten to add, I never did that - I was too busy being a trainee and manically planning lessons 😂)
