I have been very tempted to do that very thing

Emulation? Or planning on playing something else?
How confident do you feel that tarrifs will stay the same for a little while?
Free Range Arcade is coming up on Saturday, May 2nd! Showcase your digital or tabletop game or come play some of the best Midwestern games around! bloomington.in.gov/parks/events...
T-Rex: There are certain genres that fan fiction hits more than most! We're all familiar with taking existing characters and, oh I don't know... T-Rex: ...putting them in an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE where they all work in a COFFEE SHOP??
T-Rex: But there's also Hurt/Comfort, where you take existing characters, hurt one, and then - THEN - another character comforts them. Dromiceiomimus: Wow! Is there Hurt/No Comfort? T-Rex: Yes! T-Rex: You SICKO!!
Utahraptor: And you mention this because...? T-Rex: Because we should swap! T-Rex: Fan fiction and video games should SWITCHAROO their genres for a bit - it'd freshen BOTH up! I'd love a Saved By The Bell real-time strategy story, or play a coffee shop hurt/comfort version of Wii Sports. Let's do it! Let's better ourselves AND elevate art by swapping commonly used genres!
Narrator: LATER: T-Rex: Call of Duty got WAY more interesting when it shifted to "pining, angst, enemies to lovers, slowburn, touch starved" tags. Off panel: Honestly, I could NOT agree more. T-Rex: It is a fully objective improvement!
and when you throw in a "pretend relationship" tag for the dlc? whoa mamma

GAMA members: You should have an email from GAMA offering the opportunity to comment on GAMA's dues structure. Please consider taking time to comment on the fact that individual creators should NOT pay the same membership fee as a large publisher. (That's the current structure. $300 each.)
I talked with may son about it this morning as we saw the moon in the sky and it's just incredible that Humans have gone out the farthest we ever have in the last week!
Nice! 48 isn't bad (but also not 18 cards, either). I'm trying to decide which of my designs to pull out for game night testing tonight. I think I'm gonna try my drawing one, even though it's been a while. Maybe try to get my guest to teach me the rules, if they're willing.
I'll also recommend it. Easy for players to get on as well, just fully web-based.
Dude, you're doing amazing! Glad that you made time for yourself. ๐งก
Oh, that's awesome! ๐
Yeah, promotion is the wrong term... I guess I want more eyes on it, which is what unpub is good for, ultimately.
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if I should grab an unpub table as well. I could use it to promote my game, but... I've had tough luck trying to get playtesters in the past.
Nice! We should definitely play some stuff sometime! What kind of things are you planning on doing?
Woah! What's the painting for? New color for a room?
Is it too early to ask who else will be at Origins? Going into the busiest time of the year and I want to know all the cool ppl I get to hang out with in June!
Keep going!
I argue that your chocolate to dough ratio is a bit off
But otherwise, argument accepted.
Ryan, this comic definitely needed a definition of art. Are the drawings my toddler makes art? Because then I'd suggest that based on the ease of making digital art, we're probably in the "more art is around that was made by living humans" era
They tried for guardians but then made it DC.
Yep! That's the goal.
Currently plugging away at developing the same games - using a lot of creative energy in developing puzzles and learning in my day job as well, which always cuts into my design energy at the end of the day.

This is a good idea as long as there's communication on what the result will be if someone puts an improvement on a game - does it need to be resubmitted at that point? How quickly are you going to respond to those changes?
How i understand it: an Advance with a return clause is essentially the same kind of thing as an option.
As a designer, I would love to know the current status of my game within the company (being rejected or accepted) - essentially a readout of how long the timeframe is when I could expect some sort of a reply and when my game is rejected/accepted into the pipeline.
I appreciate it!
No spiders up late! You should put up a sign.
That's a dream. ๐
Oh, uh... I guess she's not leaving because of you?
