today's project is figuring out where to put the Spark in the gx100 signal chain. Right now my preference is in the fx loop just before the preamp, but it does tame the sound a lot. And the onboard boosts might sound more alive but there's also only so many switches on this thing.

got my starfire back from the shop, which is awesome, but I'm not sure if the 10s I asked for are quite what I wanted. It's very fast now but a little thin. But the bends are easier. But I don't do a lot of bends.

messing around with stereo functionality on the gt1000 core fx loops. so far my best solution has been putting the preamp before the loop, still trying to widen out the stereo signal but Im not sure my pedals (nightsky and avalanche run) have a very wide signal to begin with.

PSA for people playing XD Gale of Darkness:

Use save states often, and close out of the emulator when you're done playing.

There's a bug that crashes the game
and deletes your save file if you wait too long to do either of those things.
