I’ve just spent a couple of days amongst very wealthy Americans in southern Florida & the view they have is 180 degrees away from all of the rest of us.
Things in their world is a perfect bubble & their understanding of common people’s concerns does not register.

Astronaut Christina Koch is a proud Philly sports fan, streaming games from the International Space Station.
In the 70's & 80's the schools I attended often had us hiding under our desks for air raid drills in case the reds decided to push the button down. Those drills made me anxious.
Oddly I now feel more anxious than I did then, but that anxiety is coming from my own government's actions & that sucks.

Main Street Electrical Parade on vinyl.
I got this colorful vinyl of Disney's Main Street Electrical Parade on a trip to Disney World in 1977. It still makes me happy all of these years later.

It would all be funny if it wasn't real. Everything remains stupid. At least we got to watch Artemis today. Gave me a few minutes of hope in this otherwise hopeless timeline.
My fellow Americans, today is a day to remind those that presume to be in power that the real power lies with the people. Join a No Kings event today and swell the numbers so that we cannot be forever ignored. #NoKings

It is
It’s about ice hockey
Just finished Season 5 of Shoresy and as an American it sure was bittersweet. The underlying bit about Canadian-American hockey unity makes me sad knowing that the actions of my government is destroying the relationship with our neighbors to the north.
Canada deserves better.
Of course not. I have no idea what I’m doing, just having fun trying. 😂
