Yeah. Tbf a big reason I also wanted to create Spindle, my sona, is so I can just indulge in my own tastes and whatever I feel like it!

But yes, characters build their taste based on circumstance, people around them, their own self-image, etc. I *try* to be mindful of this when designing nowadays

I draw her (and my characters in general) in different outfits veeeeery often ! Nearly every art even. Unless you mean full sheets, I don't have one, but honestly I should do a big sheet with all of them one day

But even for the design, layers, colours, cut, etc. I try to figure out the outfit from the characters' perspective, why *they* like it this way, their own tastes, rather what what *I* think fits in a way

Essentially I like giving history and character even to the outfits themselves !

I like to make the outfits I draw feel worn, not just physically worn, but even if only as a mental note, give history and reasons to why the outfit is so and so, even if the art doesn't reflect it, does that make sense lmfao

(also it wasn't originally this low cut but after so much uses it did get even more lowcut as the fabric stretches, even more so as she purposefully stretches it to hide it under other layers)

why so low cut? it is not meant to be worn outside lmao, originally just a really airy and comfy sleepwear, but hey it fits and is comfy under the work outfit. She can get a full outfit but she is very much a "repurpose and reuse" gal, out of necessity in her childhood, now more so a habit
