Unfortunately my job denied my new schedule since we're shortstaffed, so I have to endure for now until I can find a new job. 🙃
I'll still re-open commissions in May, but I might be a bit slower to work on them.
So I'm in a bit of a tight spot right now I have two doctor visits to go to and food to buy for my dog but my funds are very low for both gas and being able to pay
So if anyone could help that'd be great

I absolutely miss the old 2008-2009 Deviantart.
It was a lot of fun customizing your page/journals to whatever you want and it was super easy to see everyone's artwork.
SOON I'll be free for another week off from work, then I can chill and work on stuff for my Furality booth. My job has been pretty relentless lately with my schedule. I've requested new hours/days so hopefully things will go back to normal for me for now until I eventually leave for good.

Aahh... Springtime that feels like Summer with the heat/humidity.. Its time to bring out my portable AC unit and spend over an hour getting the frame to fit in my window. I wish it was winter still.

It sucks how much DA went downhill. I miss how that site was back in 2008. It was the first site I've ever shared my art on and met so many great folks that I'm still friends with today.

14-15 years of retail has been hell. Going from one supermarket to another... I'm tired and mentally/physically drained all the time. Hopefully custodial work will be much better for me and way less mentally draining. Plus it'll be more money than what I make right now.
Well. Here's to hoping I get a better job so I can finally have a good work-life balance. 🤞
Submitted my application to do a 2nd shift custodial position as a substitute for now. After getting a bit of experience from it, then I plan to seek a proper part-time job out of it to escape from retail.

Wow that is extremely disappointing to see.
Its understandable times are tough, but they're still responsible to update their clients after being paid for art they are expected to do. Treating clients like trash just because they asked for an update is absolutely shitty and loses all of my respect.
