A non-sequitir- I know nothing abt meteorology - are we going to see the usual humidity bump this summer, or will that be tempered by reduced snowmelt? I'm a weather idiot 🫠 I don't even know what causes some air to hold more moisture than others 😢

Rebecca Yarros, β€˜Fourth Wing’ author and Avalanche fan, hockey mom at heart: β€˜I don’t think there’s anything quite like it’ For the woman who created Violet Sorrengail, Xaden Riorson and the rest of the dragon riders at Basgiath War College, her home away from home is a hockey rink.

We've even had a book-themed game (thank you, Colorado resident Rebecca Yarros)!

Cover of the book 1984 by George Orwell, with a male/female couple in an embrace, with the woman's head thrown back in ....ecstasy? Surrender? Exhaustion?

Answering the question nobody asked- What if we made 1984 kind of sexy? #BookSky

I own a used bookstore and don't carry any of her stuff (nor do I have any dramoine) - it's more of a fruit of the poisoned tree thing for me πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ doesn't feel like I can create a welcoming environment and have her work in the shop. I get why others would act differently.

I've started asking people if they can pay cash/debit on transactions less than $10 at my business. Pandora's Box isn't going to shut, but the idea that I have to help pay for people's vacations is messed up.

I thought (wrongly, my bad) that Bookpage was a publisher's publication- seems like something similar would be a great place to start.
