A lot of the pieces I work hard to render feel slightly tortured to me at the end (maybe I'm just sick of looking at them). I'm trying to marry learning and spontaneity.

Working on backgrounds again! I've spent years saying I suck at backgrounds. Since picking digital painting back up I've been focusing on them a lot. I'm working on finding the balance between fun to look at, but not overly detailed to the point of ditracting.
