Glad Bluesky is back up in time for #LetterboxdFriday. Here's my #LastFourWatched.
- one from a genre I don't usually watch, and enjoyed.
- one was something I've been wanting to see for ages.
- one I found incredibly well executed.
- one my wife fell asleep at...
That's part of the problem really haha I managed to ditch reddit a few years back but now that's slowly crept back into my daily activity.
I've got you on IG too, if you ever need to send an image!
Finally foldered away Twitter/X. Just full of bots, bait and brain dead activity.
I’d delete it if I didn’t need it for PwrRngr but at least muscle memory can’t open it now.
#LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday
- one didn't quite live up to the hype.
- one featued some fantastic style choices.
- one had an ending that was somewhat problematic.
- one was paced very well, considering it's longer runtime.
It's unreal, isn't it. I had 2 hours to kill, so just decided to walk around instead of sitting on my phone somewhere. Covered about 5 miles all in.
Took a stroll round London this evening.
Well, that was exceptional.
New project (to take my mind off of the other project) is now at 25 pages ✌🏻

Unresponsive people are the worst. I hate it, I hate it so much.
If you want to be friend, and offer help, don't dangle shit. It is *incredibly* deflating and demoralising, on top of just being simply annoying.
What does this producer do on a day off?
Well, daytime writing of course!
(and on a new project…)
110 is certainly a sweet spot!
Wife: What’s that extra cable sticking out of the monitor for?
Me: …
The longest this script ever was, is 134 pages. I'm very happy at 110.
I realised I wanted it be a really tight read, so was more critical in the edit, while also *adding* new bridges. That's what helped me, being aware that I can add entirely new elements, not just remove/tweak.
You can do it!
A little evening session of editing and I've done it.
Down to 110 pages, without compromising what I feel makes the story unique and valuable. I shall sleep well tonight.

Thank you! Feel like I've certainly leveled up the display overall with it.
Taking a break from work-work to work on my own work but it’s okay cos I love my new home workspace.
And when you’re trying to cut the page count, the ultrawide really helps with that editing stage!

God damn Tuesdays.
Got the script down to 112 today - all through snappier and smarter dialogue tweaks - but it's also a Tuesday so getting in my own head. Typical Tuesday.

Scratch that...
113!
