snapped the hand sewing needle in half while tacking the seam allowance down on the boot cover. the top part shattered and is MIA at the time of reporting. I hope I don't step on it later...

over the weekend I was able to finish his pants, which are actually shorts, and his boot covers. lots of troubleshooting happened because I realized there was too much fabric to fit into the boot cover but with some darts I managed everything okay.

I'm so happy I forgot that the zips were coming today cause I would have never done any of this work, I would have just sat around waiting for them to show up... cause you know, -waves hand-, for reasons

I had to stop working on Challe's pants because I couldn't continue without the zipper, so I moved on to cut the mock up of his coat. lol only for the ups guy to show up with my wawak order with all my zippers.
