We need some form of proof of humanity. I donโt think these orbs are it. Governments need to make it possible to prove humanity via government issued IDs (without sharing personal details with the third party that wants verification)
Well loading the replies to this is failing, so Iโm guessing not well
๐๐ฎ๐ SUPER COOL NEWS ๐๐ฎ๐
Do you like goofy NPCs in games? Do you like finding little notes in game-world drawers? DO YOU like listening to the in-game radio, or stopping to watch the tv?
Well, Iโm writing A BOOK about all these things, how to create them, and why!
I canโt wait for you to see it! ๐
If you're going to watch one Demoscene from Revision 2026 then make it this one. So good.

The victory of the opposition in Hungary yesterday, like the Polish election in 2023, is a victory for democracy, not just in Europe but around the world.
And doubly sadly the horizontal tab scrolling is buggy :(
Sadly both things I am running into with @vivaldi.com and the second doesn't appear to have a solution.
Two things that immediately get in my way when using other browsers:
* Tiny tabs (thankfully enabling horizontal scrolling is usually supported)
* Close button showing up on hover (the amount of times it causes accidental closure of tabs when trying to select them is too high!)
This does bring us back to the question: how exactly are these AI companies going to make a profit off of these models when open models are catching up to them and users will be able to run them on their laptops for free?
My guess is that we have hit a ceiling and are getting to diminishing returns for the top frontier models. So now we will start to see every cheap/open model catching up to them.
Big smiles from Christina and Victor on the deck of the USS John P. Murtha, as they waited to be escorted for their routine post-mission medical checks.
With all that's going on in the world, it is amazing that we have finally had some more humans return to the orbit of the moon. Here is to more Artemis missions!
Bet you it's more fluid and more usable than the iOS Disneyworld app.

How do they ensure that respondents are specifically aware and use GenAI rather than the thousands other kinds of AI?
There is a great city guide book idea in here somewhere
Gorillaz concert picture
Best concert I've been to in a while.
Hard to say because we don't know why they put that source code in storage.
Just remembering that Electrofuels exist and wondering why we aren't creating more factories that use up the extra electricity generated by wind farms/solar in the UK to generate them.

This is feeling silly. What if I ask codex to now rewrite this repo to TypeScript? ๐
Absolutely hilarious but also sad that we live in this world now.
Itโs why I think open source is going to die.
It's Trans Day of Visibility today. If you're trans and are raising money for something (I don't care what it is), reply to this thread and I will boost you.
If you are a cis person, take a look and find someone to support if you can.
Everyone give this a share after.
Freaking hell. Just cost me $50 to renew a .io domain
It is becoming increasingly harder and harder to avoid replying to bad takes about GenAI.
I love that we now have electric scrambler bikes. So quiet, but the people riding them are still ignoring all traffic laws. Kind of funny to see.
