This December I had the privilege of visiting Ellen Hauptli at home, and she decided to throw an art-to-wear party!

Ellen, Yoshiko Wada, Jean Cacicedo, Carol Lee Shanks, Bettina Zurek, and Chere Mah came along and we talked about shibori, wearable art, and of course, Marian Clayden. Thanks Ellen!

This is also very timely, because I have floor tickets to see @barrymanilow1.bsky.social at his San Jose show in a month!

A little fun from the archive. In 1999, @barrymanilow1.bsky.social was given a humanitarian award by the Friends of Sheba Medical Centre. He was presented the award by none other than Elizabeth Taylor who was wearing...a Marian Clayden!
