Wish I could have sat in. Sounds like a fun panel, Dan.
👏👏👏😈🦇
A highlight of #galaxyconrichmond was the Daredevil-Batman panel, and meeting and chatting with these very fine creators who have added considerably to these classic characters: Chip Zdarsky, Phil Noto and Dan Watters.
Acclaimed copywriters/filmmakers/creative directors/playwrights/comic book authors D.G. Chichester & Mark Bellusci share proven techniques for getting stories on the screen. Grab your copy of Street Writers and fight to write at a.co/d/4cuFDYe
When humanity is rocked by a flesh-eating virus, people rebuilt themselves with GrafTek. Bookie and hustler Ruby Chance unlocked a powerful A.I. named Rysk, boosting Ruby’s senses and skills. Join her adventure at blackboxcomics.net
Maya is one of the best in the business. Professional, kind, and always learning. She was a delight to work with and, in my opinion - as a writer with a ton of marketing/pr/biz dev experience - would be a great addition to any publisher looking to up their game. Hire her!
Hi there! Some news, but as of this morning, I am no longer with Mad Cave. I am eternally grateful for the past 4.5 years with you all, and with such an amazing team.
Thank you so much for trusting me with marketing your books!
Yep. He may have not been the right commercial choice at the time, but I applaud editor Marc McLaurin's vision. And I thrilled at every page/panel. He really made the character of Terror sing. (With whose voice, I'm not sure…) Greatly missed.
took me along time to get used to his style and now I think he's a gottdamm GENIUS.

Ruby Chance's world is wired for weird. When a virus melted humanity, GrafTek augmented bodies — but not always pretty. Join in the messy, dizzying story of RYSK at blackboxcomics.net
I get the getaway appeal of a writer's retreat. But in the meantime, why not, I don't know — just write?
And where was this measured response when it was all in the works? Open barn door, horses, ring any bells?
Street Writers collects my podcast of a coupla years back. Collaborator Mark Bellusci and I took to the mics to spread some writer wit and wisdom. Writing’s a battle — find something to keep you swinging at a.co/d/4cuFDYe
Betting on survival? Ruby Chance and her crew play the strangest odds in a tech-ravaged future. Check out RYSK, the cyber-heist that delivers wild adventure in a 5 issue comic series at blackboxcomics.net
I usually go with "Hey Swede!" to confuse the neighbors.
2nd Blizzard of the season. One more and I’ll be looking Kurt Russell in a sombrero.
I’ve “crafted” a book! Street Writers is the “based on a true story” of a podcast created with collaborator Mark Bellusci to laugh about making words for plays, films, ads, comic books and more with proven techniques for writing activation. I hope it gives your own writing a boost at a.co/d/4cuFDYe
To the doomers who keep saying Trump will rig the 2026 and 2028 elections: Do not concede in advance
With 23 years of continuous work as a letterer, and over 30 years of print/production experience, I’m now unable to find any new lettering work in comics.
Please keep me in mind when staffing your creator-owned projects and please consider requesting me on your WFH projects 🙏
https://theycantalk.com/ Panel 1: Two beavers . One says, "Look what we can build when we work together" Panel 2: The other beaver says, "Imagine what we could destroy."
Heehee, 🤭. Imagine.
Ruby Chance thought she was just improving her chances at winning — until her GrafTek woke up with its own scheme. Meet the radical AI living in Ruby’s head, in my new series at blackboxcomics.net

And for today's "winning the internet"…
So with authoritarian poster boy Orban defeated and conceded — how long before Trump declares war on Hungary?
Appreciative to have been invited to co-create RYSK: a new cyber heist spotlighting bookie Ruby Chance, her team of oddsmakers — and conniving forces that want to plunder what’s left of a ruined world. Full series at blackboxcomics.net
Having written 60K words of prose between Jan 1 and Feb 9, shifting over to writing dialogue in a panel by panel comic script is feeling a lil' bit different than before.
29 years ago thought — yikes!
With new DC-Marvel crossovers a thing, it was nice to see this spotlight on the first Daredevil-Batman team up, which I wrote with art by Scott McDaniel. A lot of fun! Especially creating a "young lawyers" connection between attorney Matt Murdock and D.A. Harvey Dent — aka the villain Two Face!
Such a great writer’s reference.
