Why would @wutrain.bsky.social spend a whole term putting in bike infrastructure and then last year start ripping out the separation all over the city?
I know I have questions and this Wednesday @bostoncitycouncil.bsky.social is holding a hearing to find out what the ever loving heck is going on

Terrific thread of Globe comments about transit modes including cycles were kicked off by Peter Gerlings ("pgerlings"), continuing through the day today.
Worth a read, it's the first Globe comment, and replies!

The curb management in Boston is just abysmal. Delivery drivers need to do their jobs and now that @mayorwu.boston.gov has had all bike lane delineators ripped out, drivers block them with impunity. What is the plan here @streets.boston.gov? Where is our #BostonBikeNetwork?
it's been wild to see where this line of copy travels.

Gold Record of Pixies “Doolittle” album recorded at Downtown Recorders in Boston (1989)
Hi Tom!
Big Fan! I just used your quote on a post today. Pixies “Doolittle” was recorded in Boston at a studio where I was part owner. I received a Gold Record for this album.
Cool. I should send this picture to @tomflood.bsky.social

Weekly reminder that @streets.boston.gov can’t afford to lose a single square inch of our better walking, biking, and transit infrastructure. We actually need to install much, much more of it as fast as humanly possible.
One other periodic reminder that if we don’t recognize the act of routine single occupant vehicle driving in urban environments as a massive and combined public health, public safety, and climate emergency threat, then we aren’t doing it right. 1/2
