A bit surprised it didn’t result in panic buying in the servos and supermarkets actually.

That’s a huge amount of walking. Just diagnosed with hashi’s in December. The fatigue and weight gain are so problematic to resolve. To date the only symptom improvement I’ve had with levothyroxine is hardening of fingernails. Zip on the others.
Which excludes the costs of other nations. Lives lost. Destruction of buildings/infrastructure. Air flights cancelled or re-routed. Risk to oil/gas and increased costs. Costs of defence. There are widespread impacts.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres: “Military action carries the risk of igniting a chain of events that no one can control in the most volatile region of the world"
Please remind me of the bit when Putin “tried to make peace”.
Was it before he a) invaded Crimea b) invaded Ukraine proper c) tortured and executed civilians d) threatened nuclear war e) targeted civilian infrastructure or; f) declined ever to moderate even one of his punitive war aims?
American possum in top photo. Australian possum in bottom photo.
Our usually look a bit startled when disturbed. Such different looking little fellows. Both beautiful in their own way.
Australian possums look really cute. These possums look to be a bit more on the horror scale of things. Those teeth!!!
She walks in darkness. Excellent series on the ETA group in Spain and France.
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Definite End of the World vibes here. dark clouds, ravens and hawks weaving above us, weird swirling gusty wind. going to be a long night.
The wind is still up. Predicted to drop in another couple of hours. Take care. Hope you are in a safe place.

Waiting for the fire emergency app to update is excruciating. We’ve been monitoring it during the day & worrying about friends in western Victoria. Now there is a small fire to our north. Terrible day in Victoria. We are packed - need to load car with cats & dog. Monitoring & ready to go if need be.
Love it! 🧡
The quokka is one of the cutest animals in the world ☺️💙😎
France at the UN Security Council:
"The military operation which led to the capture of Nicolas Maduro runs counter to the principle of peaceful dispute resolution and the principle of non use of force. Violations of the UN Charter... chips away at the very foundation of the international order."
Most definitely. We have had 6 of them and you really need to know how to handle big, dogs (sweet, boisterous and stubborn). However having a 4 kg Chihuahua hanging off your jowl apparently does the trick 😂
We used to have a Chihuahua crossed with a cattle dog. She looked like a miniature red heeler. 4 kg. We also had a 55 kg Rhodesian ridgeback. She was most definitely the boss of him.

It was the night before Christmas and we are exhausted. #cats #relaxedasacat

The words “oh fuck” are not generally the words you want to hear when your husband is trying to wrangle a snake to relocate it. Thankfully it was only the snake escaping. #australiansummer

The ever hopeful Kevin wistfully waiting for a morsel off my husband’s dinner plate. And yes, it worked. Master manipulator. #blueskydogs
I’d really like to see the wildflowers over in WA- haven’t managed to get there at the right time yet.
