Ants. 🐜 Last year we found them in August and last night I discovered them behind the bed, coming from the baseboard and getting onto the bed. If I defeat them today it’s still going to be nightmare fuel. 🙃

I rarely get nervous while submitting short fiction anymore. I did sweat bullets over a contracted story. My fears have been eased, and I hope I get to do it again! <3

It’s 3am and my toddler woke me up. I can’t go back to sleep. I want coffee. I’m going to be a mess for the rest of the day. I will now take a dramatic bow and exit.

My reading taste is all over the place: I went from historical fiction, romcom, to hard sf last month. When they said writers should read widely, I understood the assignment.

In Athens there used to be a book store that had a ton of old sf novels with these amazing covers. Most had plastic sleeves. I miss that place. I think it was more of a collection than a store.
