got notified that ive been officially discharged from my therapists care... its only been a few hours and ive already had to catch myself because i keep thinking 'oh, i gotta bring that up at our next appointment'

i cried multiple times a day, every day for the majority of 2024. and still pretty frequently in 2025.

but ive been doing a lot better since january and its nice to be able to recognize that

had my last appointment with my therapist and cried a lot. but it also made me realize i cant actually remember the last time i cried before her retirement

also, and ive said this 29584738697495693759 times by now, the gi are a wonderful way to show what happens to beings that are truly not born from gaia

sephiroth is so certain that hes not human. but he has to actively resist the lifestreams pull, while the gi have spent an eternity trying to get in

most of the cast sees the cetra as mythical, benevolent people with special powers. sephiroth briefly sees them as his ancestors until he decides theyre all his enemies actually (whatever fits his narrative best 🫡)

meanwhile, the gi see them as their prison wardens

one of my favorite bits of lore in ff7 are the gi

i didnt really understand their narrative purpose when i was a teenager, but since the remakes kickstarted my ff7 renaissance, ive realized how cool they are as a contrast to the cetra and sephiroth

ur the only person i can trust to know both er And movies enough to rule on the casting.... im still not sure ill really like the movie all that much. but im at least hopeful theyll put real effort into it
