i don't understand bluesky people who pretend to be on the left but absolutely hate poor people and complain about people asking for money. hating beggars is actually just standard reactionary stuff. it's weird to know about systemic economic inequality and still be doing that.

I’ve said this before but I’ve known @anthonyjk-rgc.bsky.social. He has stood up for me with regards to people stalking and harassing me on X. He needs a lot of help and I’d love to see him get the help he absolutely needs and deserves!!!!!!!
the consequence today is actually that I find myself having to ask for food before I'm even ready to eat it because I know I won't get another chance until the next morning. I'm taking this slow.
I have a limited frame of time during the day when I can actually get my family to bring me anything, and it makes calories / nutrition a struggle. then combine that with the amount of energy my body loses doing even baseline functions like digestion.. this is why I wanted long-term medical help.
I was forbidden access to the outside world, but I am allowed a look every once in a while. it's surreal

feeling so much more refreshed when I use the CPAP. my baseline was getting rough there for a bit. the noise is still an issue, but I have insomnia anyway. I usually am forced to wait until I'm ready to knock out before I put the mask on.

preparing myself for tomorrow. I have one big thing to write and send off that could be impactful. I've been trying to pass the time. that's all I can really do since ME/CFS makes it so that you really do have to choose life every day.

I received a rejection today. I got into my own head because it was the first proper opinion I got based on evidence review. but I have a more promising person to review in several weeks.

what a goddamn joke. the science on this shit is clear by now. it's so wild that anyone can unilaterally decide when a disease is and isn't valid based on their own ignorance. there are a number of conditions that you can't test for via labs, but they're very selective about when it matters.
does the strategy change? or is it mostly just hoping you get someone who's sympathetic? I'm not sure how it's been going for you. what I do know is it's a terrible injustice. ME/CFS is a horrific disease. it needs to be taken seriously. it angers me daily.
